Friendly Reminder: War Is STILL A Racket!

WAR.  It seems to be as old as time itself.  And so many people seem to think it is inevitable.  However, it turns out that is not really true. War is neither timeless nor inevitable.  It has a beginning, and it has an end.  The beginning was about 7000 years ago (with the advent of patriarchy), while the end will be coming very soon (with the inevitable fall of patriarchy and rise of Matriarchy in the not-too-distant future).  And the end can't come soon enough!

(Especially now with the world being at 89 seconds to midnight (!) on the Doomsday Clock. That is, the risk of nuclear war is the highest it has been in quite a while now.  If, God forbid, a "hot" war between the USA and Russia and/or China or North Korea were to occur, the odds of it going nuclear are practically certain.  Even a hot war with Iran is an extremely risky move to say the least, and thus very ill-advised for the USA to join!  The best that one could hope for in that scenario is an even more destabilized Middle East, and it goes downhill from there.)

Patriarchy inherently rewards aggression and violence, no doubt about that.  And it messes with our heads so as to condition us to accept such violence as normal.  And of course there is men's tendency to think that war and scarcity are inevitable, which become self-fulfilling prophecies.  Women, on the other hand, would tend to reject such backwards thinking if they were in charge.  The late, great Buckminster Fuller himself said as much.

But there is also another reason why war is likely to occur under patriarchy, and that reason is discussed in depth by Major General Smedley Butler in his 1935 book, War Is A Racket.  Put simply, war is indeed a racket that is designed to further enrich the already ultra-rich oligarchs.  In other words, its genesis is none other than evil and powerful men who are willing to lie, cheat, steal, and kill for filthy lucre, and those sycophantic lackeys and ignorant masses who are brainwashed and duped to go along with it.   And of course, we know that patriarchy itself inevitably leads to oligarchy in the first place due to its "might makes right" and "winner take all" paradigm (that is nowadays most often cleverly disguised by the persistent and utterly hollow myth of "meritocracy").

Indeed, patriarchy itself can be thought of as a gender war writ large, and the only way to end it once and for all--and all other wars that come from it--is for men to surrender to Women.  It's a war men have lost before the war even began, despite winning nearly every battle--men just don't realize it yet.

That said, General Butler's book is more about how the perennial racket of war actually works in practice, and how to smash it for good (as opposed to the why the oligarchy exists in the first place).  But it goes a very long way towards explaining it, and he would be spinning in his grave if he were to see today's massive, imperialistic war machine.

In War Is a Racket, Butler points to a variety of examples, mostly from World War I, where industrialists, whose operations were subsidized by public funding, were able to generate substantial profits, making money from mass human suffering.

The work is divided into five chapters:

1. War is a racket
2. Who makes the profits?
3. Who pays the bills?
4. How to smash this racket!
5. To hell with war!

It contains this summary:

"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

Then he goes on to discuss who exactly profits from it and how.  It turns out it is not just weapons manufacturers, but also the big banks and other businesses that directly or indirectly deal with it as well.  In fact, the banksters are probably the biggest beneficiaries of war, since they lend money to finance it and then claw back so much in interest.  And manufacturers of non-weapons goods also have a market to sell their wares to in the military.  And of course, let's not forget all the resources plundered from the other countries as "spoils of war".

(And now we can add "defense contractors", aka mercenary corporations, such as DynCorp, Blackwater, Halliburton, KBR, Raytheon, et al. to the list of war profiteers as well.)

War is, of course, a negative-sum game overall.  It does not really create wealth on balance, it actually destroys far more than it creates.  But it certainly brings in a ludicrous amount of ill-gotten wealth in the form of profit, plunder, and usury for the oligarchy.  As for the idea that it "stimulates the economy" in the short run, that is technically true, but as neo-Keynesian economist Dr. Paul Krugman has famously noted years ago, a faked alien invasion would be every bit as stimulating, but without all of the serious side effects such as countless deaths, injuries, PTSD, family breakdown, resource depletion, pollution, ecological damage, and property damage.

In other words, it steals, kills, and destroys.  Kinda like....SATAN. 

And guess who foots the bill for it all?  You guessed it--the taxpayers.  The oligarchs pull the wool over our eyes, while laughing all the way to the bank.  But truly the biggest part of the bill is paid for in blood by the soldiers themselves.  And even for those who survive the horrors of war, it still takes its toll on them regardless, both physically and psychologically.  And these soldiers generally hail not from the ranks of the wealthy, but rather from the poor and broader working class.  Not much has changed in that regard today, it seems.

(Note that since the gold standard was abolished in 1971, our Monetarily Sovereign federal government does not actually need taxes to fund anything, since they can just "print" (create) the money now if they wanted.  But since wars inherently chew through ludicrous amounts of non-monetary resources, all wars are thus inflationary regardless, so We the People still pay for it in the form of higher prices.)

And that's to say nothing of the human toll of civilians in the other countries as well, who bear the brunt of it.

Then, General Butler discusses how to smash this evil racket once and for all.  To summarize, the three steps are as follows:  1) Take the profit out of war, 2) Put it up to a vote (limited to those who would be eligible for the draft) as to whether or not a war should be declared, and 3) Limit our military forces to home defense purposes.  Otherwise, nothing will stop the racket.

Again, as noted on Wikipedia:

In the booklet's penultimate chapter, Butler recommended three steps to disrupt the war racket:

1. Making war unprofitable. Butler suggests that the means for war should be "conscripted" before those who would fight the war:

It can be smashed effectively only by taking the profit out of war. The only way to smash this racket is to conscript capital and industry and labour before the nation's manhood can be conscripted. […] Let the officers and the directors and the high-powered executives of our armament factories and our steel companies and our munitions makers and our ship-builders and our airplane builders and the manufacturers of all other things that provide profit in war time as well as the bankers and the speculators, be conscripted — to get $30 a month [NOTE: that's $667/month in 2024 dollars], the same wage as the lads in the trenches get.

2. Acts of war to be decided by those who fight it. He also suggests a limited referendum to determine if the war is to be fought. Eligible to vote would be those who risk death on the front lines.
3. Limitation of militaries to self-defense. For the United States, Butler recommends that the Navy be limited, by law, to operating within 200 miles of the coastline, and the Army restricted to the territorial limits of the country, ensuring that war, if fought, can never be one of aggression. 

Indeed, the time to end all of this insanity and evil is yesterday.  So what do we do in the meantime while patriarchy still exists?  Thus, inspired by Butler, I propose that a new law be passed that we call the War Pigs Act, named after both the ineffectual and toothless War Powers Resolution of 1973 and the 1970 Black Sabbath song "War Pigs".  The first part of the new law would put some teeth in the War Powers Act by closing the loopholes and holding the President liable for any consequences of a war that is not authorized by Congress and is not during a state of emergency caused by an attack on the USA.  And absent a formal declaration of war by Congress, absolutely NO war may last beyond 90 days (60 days followed by a 30 day withdrawal), save for a temporary authorization of force that expires 90 days after the authorization passes or 180 days after the war began (if it began before the new law went into effect), whichever occurs first.  After that, there must be a formal declaration of war, or the war must end.  Period.

The second part of the law would implement some of General Butler's recommendations from his book, taking into account that we currently have an all-volunteer military.  Take the profit out of war, first of all.  Use the tax code to do so.  And for any war lasting beyond six months (which by definition would now require a formal declaration of war), require an annual limited plebiscite of all citizens that would be eligible for military service.  Make it a non-secret ballot such that those who vote "yes" would be drafted if we run out of volunteers, followed by those who abstain from the vote if necessary.  Those who vote "no" would be exempt from any such draft.  A kind of "consensual conscription", if you will.  We would all have skin in the game.  Women would be included as well, but before they draft the very first Woman, we should draft men in their 40s and 50s first.  That's the demographic group who starts the wars but rarely fights them.  It's only fair, right fellas?  Watch as war becomes a thing of the past, at least for the stupid ones and decade(s) long quagmires like Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

(It would also be a good idea to do like the Iroquois once did:  give Women elders the power to VETO any decision to go to war.  That alone would prevent essentially all wars that are not waged in strict and absolute defense of the homeland.)

For the record, I am personally 100% against the draft on principle.  Unless absolutely necessary, I view it as a form of slavery and involuntary servitude, and if there were ever such a thing as a truly just war (as per St. Augustine's Just War Theory criteria), which is about as rare as a unicorn, conscription would be unnecessary, since volunteers would be plentiful.  And today's technology further makes it largely obsolete to raise such large numbers of boots on the ground.  But since nuance, gray areas, and exceptions that prove every rule do in fact exist in the real world (see WWII and the American Civil War, for example), I will note that if we ever must have a draft, only those who voted yes (or chose not to vote) for such a war should be drafted.

General Butler was a true American hero and patriot.  After his distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps including during WWI (during and after which he eventually found out just how much of a racket it really was), he later quashed an attempted Wall Street fascist coup against FDR's government in 1933-1934.  Yes, there really was a plot by the Rockefellers, Mellon Bank, Standard Oil, General Motors, Goodyear, US Steel, and many others (including pro-Nazi forces!) to overthrow the federal government and install their own fascist dictatorship do their bidding, complete with concentration camps for, in their own words, "Jews and other undesirables".  And the money for the plot bankrolled by the big banks/corporations was funneled through Prescott Bush's companies (yes, THAT Bush, who also did business with the Nazis as well).  They all thought they could use Butler for the plot and he pretended to play along at first, only to foil their plot by telling Congress about it just before it went ahead.  He literally saved America from falling to full-blown fascism, in other words.  He was indeed history's original whistleblower, and then in 1935, he wrote his magnum opus, which unfortunately fell on deaf ears the world over.  

War was a racket then, and still is today.  And it always will be as long as it exists.

Happy Mother's Day!

 

First, I would like to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful Mothers out there.  You are, after all, literally the reason why the human race even exists at all, despite the fact that the work you do is grossly undervalued in so many way by our twisted capitalistic and patriarchal society.  In other words, your beautiful feminine energy is essentially what keeps the rest of us alive.

I would also like to note and lament how, for all the shallow platitudes America likes to throw around about "Mothers and apple pie", we are still a nation that perpetually continues to screw over Mothers and pregnant Women in so many ways.  Years ago, the legendary Guru Rasa Von Werder shared with us a poignant and in-depth article from Vox (see here) with us that illustrates the various ways in which that is true.  This article should truly be food for thought indeed.  Our patriarchal and capitalistic society clearly has a "cult of motherhood", in which the "ideal" of motherhood is so highly vaunted, worshipped even, but in practice actual Mothers themselves get about as much genuine respect as Rodney Dangerfield.  Both during and after pregnancy, so many Mothers are routinely discriminated against, overworked, underpaid, and even outright criminalized in many cases.  And meanwhile, there is to this day a powerful faction of mostly male politicians that is doing everything in their power to deny Women their right to choose whether or not to get (or stay) pregnant in the first place.  Indeed, the rank hypocrisy of our utterly misogynistic, hypocritical, and pharisaical system is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Meanwhile, old Buckminster Fuller (who, not coincidentally, believed that Women should rule the world) must be spinning in his grave right now.  With today's technology and innovation, there is literally no legitimate reason why we as a society need "everybody and their mother" (literally!) to "work for a living" unless they really wanted to.  There are more than enough resources in the world for everyone on this planet to live like a millionaire, but the greedy oligarchs who control such resources apparently don't want to share.  Combined with the outdated scarcity mentality that men tend to favor (as opposed to the abundance mentality that Women tend to favor), those same oligarchs have also done everything in their power to sabotage any alternatives (i.e. free and renewable energy) to their own evil system that they force upon the rest of us.  So why make them even richer?

Additionally, just as we should "dispense with the absolutely specious notion that everybody needs to earn a living" (in Bucky's words), so too should we jettison the equally specious and outdated idea that "everybody must procreate" as though it were a civic duty.  Not only does today's technology make much useful human labor redundant, but the world is grossly overpopulated and will only get more so in the coming decades, and despite the abundance of the world's resources we are chewing through them like there is no tomorrow while destroying the planet.  And the main cause of that overpopulation is--wait for it--MEN.  Because they are the ones who, both historically and today, force, coerce, deceive, and/or brainwash Women to have kids that they otherwise would not want or are not yet ready for.  Men like to "get 'em while they're young" and then use them as serial breeding slaves, essentially, and all the euphemisms in the world do not change that fact.  It is really no coincidence that the two most effective (and ethical) ways to reduce overpopulation and excessively high birthrates are 1) female empowerment and 2) poverty reduction, while everything else is a mere sideshow.  Because when Women actually have a free and genuine choice on when or whether or not to reproduce, they usually make the right choices overall.  After all, they are the ones who have the most "skin in the game".  So let the planetary healing begin!

(And ICYMI, all of this applies a fortiori in the wake of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, which is now fully in the rearview mirror and rapidly fading from view.  Mothers have clearly faced a whopping triple burden thanks to all the lockdowns, school closures, job losses and stuff like that, followed by persistent shortages in, and high prices for, childcare availability after reopening.  Don't ever let the powers that be try to gaslight anyone into thinking otherwise, or memory-hole it.)

Happy May Day / Beltane, everyone!

Today, May 1, is May Day, also known as the Celtic and Neopagan holiday of Beltane.  It has a rather long history and symbolizes many things, but it is most notably a day to honor the Goddess, which includes the Goddess in every Woman.  Elephant Journal describes it rather nicely in their article a few years ago about the holiday:

Halfway between the Vernal Equinox and the Summer Solstice falls May Day—the original holiday of sex and abundance.  If you’ve ever wondered, as I used to, what the hype was around May Day—as in why I always heard about ‘May Day’ but never seemed to witness anyone actually celebrating, here’s why. It’s deeply rooted in pagan nature and hedonistic sex worship and celebrations. As Christianity spread and the Church extended its reach and control, these pagan and Divine worships of masculine and feminine equality had to be forgotten.  May 1st is Beltane in the Northern Hemisphere, the day we honor nature’s oldest love story.  And we all love a love story.   This is a holiday of union, between man and woman, God and Goddess—a celebration of the divine balance in the union of Divine masculine and feminine. Because once upon a time, the two were honored as sacred parts of the one Divine balance.

Indeed.  And among Neopagans today, Beltane is (usually) primarily about honoring the Divine Feminine, where as Samhain (October 31) is primarily about honoring the Divine Masculine.  Thus, I propose that we shift International Women's Day (currently March 8) to May 1, and shift International Men's Day (November 19, coinciding with World Toilet Day, lol) to November 1.  The latter, of course, should not be seen as a day to celebrate men, but rather as a day of atonement for the evil that men do, and have done for thousands of years now--a sort of all-male equivalent of the Jewish holy day Yom Kippur to essentially apologize to the Divine Feminine.  

Honestly, it's the least us fellas could do.

Another holiday I would like to propose is Waterloo Day, on April 30, the day before May Day.  That would symbolize the (hopefully) eventual surrender of men to Women, which I had once personally predicted will occur on April 30, 2030--the end of an error.  (Current events have made me far less sanguine about that prediction, and it is most likely much farther away than 2030, at least 2040 or 2050 if not later.)  Just as that day symbolizes the end of the "darker half" of the year and the beginning of the "lighter half", so too shall it symbolize the end of the 7000 years of darkness known as patriarchy and the beginning of the new earthly paradise known as Matriarchy.  Note too that April 30, 1975 was also when the Vietnam War officially ended, albeit ignominiously, with the Fall of Saigon.  And also there was April 30, 1945 when a certain little painter from Austria did the world a huge favor by offing himself.  And the song "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath was originally going to be called "Walpurgisnacht", which is another name for May Eve, or April 30.  One idea for how to celebrate Waterloo Day would be for the men to get up on a platform or podium, give a concession speech as though stepping down from power, and have all the Women heckle and throw rotten tomatoes at them.  All while the men sing the song "Waterloo" by ABBA, lol.

It also happens to be International Worker's Day as well, by the way..  Workers of the world.....relax.

One question that comes up over and over again is, do men really benefit from patriarchy?  The nuanced answer is, "yes, in a relative sense, but NO in an absolute sense in the long run".  It ultimately hurts everyone across the board, backfiring on men as well sooner or later, per the law of karma.  I would hope anyone reading this would realize that patriarchy is inherently a negative-sum game (lose-lose) in the long run.  And everyone regardless of gender would ultimately be better off without it, except of course the tiny few at the very top of the whole pyramid scheme (because that's what it really is).

Rasa says:  It’s kind of like this: There was a Southern slave owner who starved his slaves of meat all year long. But on the 4^th of July he pulled out all the stops & gave them a royal feast: pork, beef & chicken – with all the trimmings – all they could eat. Did they benefit? Only on the 4^th. Most slave owners did not even provide shoes for the children  not even in winter  until they reached a certain age – so if one slave owner provides the poor kids winter shoes – do they benefit? We’re talking crumbs from the Master’s table….. Now I’m watching a British TV series called Pennmmaric. The last couple episodes the wife of the Penmmaric heir is being assaulted by him. He calls her a whore & reminds her that when he met her he gave her 5 sovereigns to go to bed with him – that makes her a whore, & he dredges up her past, how she went from man to men for financial benefits – basically for support. But that makes her a whore. We women were put into a position – by evil means – to depend on men for money. Whether it’s coins or bucks in hand or weekly support, or a house, or whatever, we ‘ve leaned on them because they arranged it so - & in the end they denounce us for it! Men STOLE from us & are still doing it by paying us less for the same work, giving us worse jobs, & depriving us of opportunities. But do we BENEFIT from this patriarchy? Yes & no. As Ajax says, in some ways yes, in the long run no. That’ why we’re working to dismember patriarchy & assemble Matriarchy, so all would benefit.

AJAX (PETE) SAYS:  That's a great way to put it, Rasa.  Makes a lot of sense how you say it.  The sooner patriarchy ends and gives way to Matriarchy, the better off we will all be.

But what about the related question, do good guys really benefit from the existence of bad guys?  After all, bad guys are found in literally all walks of life and all socioeconomic classes, not just at the top (though they seem to be overrepresented there, not coincidentally).  Again, the answer is nuanced.  While it is true that the existence of bad guys (broadly defined here, ranging from crappy to absolutely horrible monsters) does set the bar for men in general at a pitifully low level, which makes it easier for the good guys to clear, this comparative advantage collapses when one considers the other effect that bad guys have.  Namely, the existence of bad guys makes it obviously harder for Women to trust men in general, so the good guys get lumped in with the bad guys and thus have a that much harder time getting Women to trust them enough to be with them in whatever way.  To put it in quasi-economic terms, this "safety tax" that bad guys impose on Women in general ultimately gets passed on to men in general in the form of a "risk tariff", thus making the dating market that much harder and costlier for the good guys as well.  Thus, we see here that any relative comparative advantage that good guys gain from the existence of bad guys is NOT worth it on balance, and the good guys would be better off without the existence of the bad guys, period.

 

          Rasa says: I wish you would define exactly what is a good guy & a bad guy & give some examples of behavior. As I find it difficult to respond without those details. It isn’t good for me to ASSUME I know what you mean because I could be off……for example –

There are criminal men, say a poacher, who shoots a deer on the wealthy landlord’s property. In a British TV series I saw, “A Horseman Riding By” this man get FIVE YEARS for the crime {he also broke the jaw of the game warden, so that was part of the sentence, lol}.

 Now at my local supermarket, routinely, this happens: You see something on SALE. Say recently the Pink Lady apples said 1.99 a pound. So I bought a bunch. But on the register it said $2.49. I caught it & received back the overcharge. This happened twice with the same apples within weeks – also with avocadoes & other items - I have received refunds from this market many times. I have never seen anyone else check their receipt or demand restitution. What happens is they accidentally on purpose forget to put into the computer the sale price, so they are STEALING from the customers & as I said I’ve never seen anyone else demand restitution so they are counting on the negligence of the customer to check what they are actually charged, so they make extra money by stealing. But of course, lol, they won’t go to jail for this…..

Another example – they keep changing the law so the rich get richer. In old days the rich simply took over the land of the poor – the King gave it to them, & it rendered these people who’d lived off the land {& owned cottages} for generations, destitute. But it was against the law to beg & when they begged they were given a brand on their forehead &/or jailed.

Now in the last few years they found gas & oil under the land here where I live – including my own – from what they cal the ‘Marcellus Shale.’ People were to get big money for this. So what did the local govt. do? They passed a law called the WINDFALL TAX where they get 40% of the initial payoff, which in my case would have been 40% of abut $250k {except I didn’t sign & our state passed fracking laws, so it never happened.} What was the windfall tax? Just another evil law to steal from the poor. So these examples are the bad guys. The good guys don’t do crimes like this, mugging people or business crimes.

 AJAX (PETE) SAYS:  All of that is unfortunately very true, Rasa.  And those masks can be either literal or figurative.  Most bad guys indeed wear some flavor of a "Good Guy" mask.  The self-proclaimed "Nice Guys" (TM) are in fact often the very worst when their masks begin to slip.  That includes the more modern incarnation, the fake "allies" and fake "empaths" as well, of course.  If a guy has to loudly broadcast that he is an ally or an empath, it means that he is probably NOT, or at the very least he doesn't practice what he preaches, and it goes downhill from there.  As for my definitions of "good guys" and "bad guys", I meant that in relative and general terms based on ethics, morals, virtues, or lack thereof.  And of course there is also a third category:  "neutral", those who all too often get swayed by the bad guys.

It's a deadweight loss to everyone, in other words.  That is, the marginal costs the bad guys impose outweigh any marginal benefits.

 AJAX (PETE) SAYS:  While men in general in one sense benefit from lowered standards overall for men in general ("hey, at least I am not like those jerks over there!") and thus things may SEEM easier as a result, such marginal benefits to the good and neutral guys are rather hollow when one considers that those same bad guys are the reason why Women have a hard time trusting men in general, as it can be difficult to tell friend from foe.  And when Women have a hard time trusting men in general, that has a chilling effect on any relationships that good guys may have or would otherwise have with Women.  The "male loneliness epidemic" is caused primarily by the bad guys, in other words.

WILLIAM SAYS:  I can give a personal story of how a bad guy effects my relationship with my wife. When I met my wife she was divorced, but her first husband was verbally abusive. So when she got involved with me she appreciates the fact I am a nice guy. This is also true of her children whom don't like their father and have said they wish I had been their dad. So they all contrast me with my wife's first husband and it makes me look good. 

AJAX (PETE) SAYS: That is true, William. And of course at the same time, unfortunately, the fact that Women have a hard time trusting men in general as a result of the bad guys has a chilling effect, to say nothing of all the trauma they inflict on Women. How many relationships would have otherwise occurred but don't as a result of what the bad guys do? So the net effect of bad guys is still harmful overall, even if there are some bright spots.

So fellas, if you really are genuinely good guys, stop validating and making excuses for the bad guys and stop mindlessly going with the flow.  You're not really helping anyone even remotely worthy of help by doing so, as neutrality only benefits the oppressors and never the victims, and you are ultimately hindering yourselves in the long run.

          Rasa says: There are very few men who ever care about or fight for women’s rights – they see it as hurting themselves & their privileges, & being traitors to their gender. Some of the men are brainwashed to believe, this is as it has to be – men should be controlling women. They WANT to believe this so they do. And sadly, some men wan to be dominated but instead of working for the Cause, they prefer to be dominated in a paid sexual setting, where they tell the dominatrix what they want – she does it & gets paid – this is called ‘topping from the bottom.’

          You might say what about the men who have joined NOW? And work as volunteers in their offices. As usual, men want to hang around & take part wherever there are women so they could get to know the women, be friends or on the odd chance, get laid, lol. I’ve seen this as I belonged to NOW. They aren’t there for authentic reasons; they’re there to get something out of it.     

That’s why I suggest when we start this new Order, men are NOT to be allowed entrance as volunteers or ‘friends’, it has to be all women as the men who would join have ulterior motives.  Even men who offer big donations – you have to be leery of because they want that pound of flesh. When we do accept men as members they must be totally under the control of the Order & obedient to its rules – they have no authority whatever & have little rights. This is not ordinary life – in life they can go out & do whatever, but in our Order it is the way we say it is – matriarchal.

I might add that we should eventually have some communities where we have generations of matriarchy – grandmother, daughter, granddaughter - & the men who are part of the family within the household. For privacy we could have cottages surrounding the main house, but the cottages are not where the man takes advantage beats up the wife & abuses the kids. The cottages are close enough so we can see what is going on if there is something out of line – especially with the children. All children should be housed in the main house up to a certain age {we need to discuss this-how it would work out because there is the issue of privacy vs safety…too much privacy to the man, he takes advantage - perhaps the husband & wife could have their cottage at certain times, not every day—this all needs to be worked out by the Elders}, then they can live in the Mom & Dad cottage if they wish. But remember, the nuclear family is designed to give freedom to the man & take it away from the wife & children.

AJAX (PETE) SAYS:  That is unfortunately true as well, Rasa.  Indeed, when it comes to the Order, you really do NOT want any such "foxes in the hen house", so it makes sense NOT to allow any men to join whatsoever at first.  And in the distant future if and when men are allowed to join in some capacity, it would probably be best for them to be associated as loosely and peripherally as possible.  (Note to the reader:  my own words in this article are speaking generally and are intended primarily about the outside world, not Rasa's Order.)

Do Good Guys Really Benefit From Bad Guys?

NOTE:  This article is primarily addressed to any men reading this.

One question that comes up over and over again is, do men really benefit from patriarchy?  The nuanced answer is, "yes, in a relative sense, but NO in an absolute sense in the long run".  It ultimately hurts everyone across the board, backfiring on men as well sooner or later, per the law of karma.  I would hope anyone reading this would realize that patriarchy is inherently a negative-sum game (lose-lose) in the long run.  And everyone regardless of gender would ultimately be better off without it, except of course the tiny few at the very top of the whole pyramid scheme (because that's what it really is).

But what about the related question, do good guys really benefit from the existence of bad guys?  After all, bad guys are found in literally all walks of life and all socioeconomic classes, not just at the top (though they seem to be overrepresented there, not coincidentally).  Again, the answer is nuanced.  While it is true that the existence of bad guys (broadly defined here, ranging from crappy to absolutely horrible monsters) does set the bar for men in general at a pitifully low level, which makes it easier for the good guys to clear, this comparative advantage collapses when one considers the other effect that bad guys have.  Namely, the existence of bad guys makes it obviously harder for Women to trust men in general, so the good guys get lumped in with the bad guys and thus have a that much harder time getting Women to trust them enough to be with them in whatever way.  To put it in quasi-economic terms, this "safety tax" that bad guys impose on Women in general ultimately gets passed on to men in general in the form of a "risk tariff", thus making the dating market that much harder and costlier for the good guys as well.  Thus, we see here that any relative comparative advantage that good guys gain from the existence of bad guys is NOT worth it on balance, and the good guys would be better off without the existence of the bad guys, period.

We are ‘The Religion of Sex’!

I think if we are to start a new religion I think we have to be realistic about it. All successful religions are businesses, they are ways of making money or gaining political power. I know many religions like Christianity and Buddhism talk about living lives of poverty. But the people who rule these religions don’t think like this. We can see this with St. Francis of Assisi, he lived a life of poverty and was greatly revered because of this. But while he was doing this the Pope Cardinals and Bishops were living lives of luxury and privilege. No Pope or Cardinal has ever tried to live like St. Francis of Assisi.

 

          Rasa says: Good point. What a great difference between the Saints poverty & suffering, & the ease of most high-up prelates – day & night. Some of the Catholic dignitaries lived like Kings & were treated as such. Everyone looked up to them, even the Saints, who had to swear allegiance & obedience to them or get kicked out! And Priests, in general, were treated with respect – in the old days everyone kissed their hand! 

We see this all over the world, the leaders of any successful religion run it like a business and if the business model no longer works then the religion declines. I see this in England, the Church of England in the 19th century was a very rich and powerful religious sect. But then in the 20th century people couldn’t bother to go to church and give money, then the whole business model collapsed and the church is now surviving by selling off it’s churches and land. This means if we think of it like a business we have to think about what people want. 

          Rasa says: So it’s that bad over there? Good, Patriarchy is DYING & religion is one of their tools by which they oppress women – powerful tools, as they make people believe this or that. Like sin was introduced to the word by Eve. - That women must obey men, men are the head of the family. That women must be virtuous & get stoned to death if not – but men can be let go. Etc. A lot of rot is taught through patriarchal religions to hold women down, as we all know. 

 So I think what we have to think about; why would anyone want to join a matriarchal religion? It has become obvious to me that talking about, why God is a Woman or why would should rule the world, doesn’t attract a lot of interest. Because people are more interested in their basic instincts. I think you made the point some time ago Rasa, that on your Youtube videos you get more hits when you exposed more of your breasts. Like it or not, that is what people are like and if we are to attract a popular following we have to accept this.  

So why would ordinary people want to join a matriarchal religion? If we appeal to people’s basic instincts then we can offer something that patriarchy cannot give people and that is a safe place to have sex. The weakness of patriarchy is that it’s anti-sexual and it’s laws and custom restrict the sexual lives of ordinary people.

 

          Rasa says: You hit the NAIL ON THE HEAD. This is it, how we go. I’m going to change the name of my You Tube from “New Religion for Women” to “The Religion of Sex.” Because that is what makes US DIFFERENT than any other religion & that is what I have symbolized & that is what I’ve been preaching {that sex is not a sin.} But I did not think of calling or naming it or branding it this way – but there, you’ve DONE IT & it’s so appropriate it’s from the lips of God to my ears!

 

Patriarchy has put up many barriers for people to come together for sex. Like marriage laws and making prostitution illegal. So the common way people have sex is to get married or live with someone. But the problem with that is people will have sex a lot when they first live together but soon become sexually bored with each other. But they are not allowed to have sex with anyone else.

 

Rasa:  Yes, variety is the spice of life, & why should we be limited with our sex partners? Who said so? I don’t think it was that way in the ancient days of matriarchy. The way I see it, women were the leaders & had sex with any man they chose, however many different ones they wanted, & the paternity of the child didn’t matter as she held all the resources, etc.

 

  There is also prostitution which is illegal which makes it scary because in many cases it’s run by criminals. While only wealthy women can use male escorts. Then there is the fear of VD if anyone sleeps around. Also if women are willing to have sex with many different men she is insulted and called a whore, slut and other derisory names. Which puts women off wanting to do that. Although it’s far more acceptable for men to have sex with as many women as he likes. 

 

Rasa says: One of the greatest items for Female Empowerment would be the DECRIMINALIZATION OF PROSTITUTION. Think how our social order would change if it was legal for women to demand money for sex! - & they were not shamed or looked down on for it. I mean every horn dog that is chasing a woman she could give him a price, {the more revolting he is, the higher the price} & then most of them would beg off & seek another woman for free – that would get rid of a lot of harassment.

And secondarily, there would be hardly any women left in poverty, for themselves or their children, if they could charge without fear of punishment or jail. Women have to go to welfare when they are destitute, but if they could charge for sex, there would be little poverty for women, as even the ugliest women would be wanted by someone – the ugliest men who no one wants.

 

So to give people a safe place to have sex, we have to think about women being in charge, but forget about whips, dungeons and black catsuits. We can make the point that sex should be an act of love and not about dominance and submission. So people can have sex however they like and with different partners providing it’s consensual. We can be a bit like the hippies and have free love but ban drugs and alcohol. As men are more likely to be violent when drunk, while drug addicts are more likely to end up as criminals. We can make it a rule that everyone has to have a VD test first, so everyone is free of VD. All sexual acts have to be consensual and no one is allowed in under the age of consent. We can make it clear this is a religion of love so all sexual acts are love making.

 

           

          Rasa say: Priceless. Do you realize what you have done William? It could be St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow & he is giving me this through your words – a great GIFT –{he always blesses me}!  This pulls together the whole magilla – Matriarchy – loving God – religion. As I said long ago “Put God back into sex & sex back into religion.” But still, in the New Religion I put God over here, & sex over there, God PERMITTING it, but did not put SEX into the title or banner, but here, you have done it & I see it is SO RIGHT! Because THINK – every other religion, which is patriarchal, running the world is AGAINST FREEDOM OF SEX & here we are, the one & only religion PRO COMPLETE SEXUAL FREEDOM FOR ALL, INCLUDING WOMEN. This brings the whole picture together into a valid form, a complete doctrine making sex our HEADLINE – after all – it’s how we part from the others.

 Along with this, we can have a theology about why God is a Woman and why we all would be better of if women rule the world. As well as religious ceremonies. But to be realistic that won’t be what attracts people to a matriarchal religion. They will be more concerned about having a safe place to have sex and being with kind and caring people.     William

 Rasa says:  Understood. We have a new banner, angle, POV, reference point, & this will be our Highway to success, not just a Jet Plane but a Satellite! – a Rocket Ship! It all MAKES SENSE now! I’m envigorated, calibrated, straightened out. I SEE THE LIGHT at the end of the tunnel! The way I had the New Religion was righteous it IS abut female safe space, being in charge, having their own zeitgeist, their separate beneficial word – all I’ve said is true. But how do we get everyone to agree to this/ To want to be in it – both women & men? It’s the SEXUAL FREEDOM.

          I have my walking papers now, my Passport, my Lighthouse of how to proceed. This is new, different & better. I shall work now toward this with you guys helping. I will get on Face Book this way, the You tube will be changed – the TITLE & how I speak. And sooner than later I’ll hire someone to work with me full time to keep a strong internet presence. And of course there will be a book. I am eager to proceed, thanks William, I think you didn’t realize what you have done, but you did something to get us where we need to go.
